The Vector Equestrian Charity Show Infographic (top) was created to showcase how much money the event has brought in from the inaugural year in 2014 to their most recent event in 2019. The poster was printed and sent to sponsors, local businesses and clients in hopes their 2020 event would raise even more. unfortunately due to COVID-19, the 2020 charity show was postponed.

The initial project started with editing the background image in Photoshop to create a contrasting black and white image. The infographic was created in Microsoft Excel and then saved as a png file to bring into the working file in Adobe InDesign. A transparent black box was created and centred over the image to allow for the information to standout amongst the background. Finally the text was created in the business’s branded font and sent away for approval.

The second poster (bottom) was created to be displayed at other equestrian facilities to invite riders to participate in the 2020 event. The posted needed to include the charity the money was going towards, the awards to the participants and the general information about the show.

The project again started with editing the image in Photoshop and creating a second layer that was a transparent to black gradient. The picture was then exported into InDesign and the information and the logos were added on top.
